Aluminum Extruded Frame
The LX27 has a super tough fully seam welded lightweight alloy frame with a high quality powder coated finish, designed to weather the toughest conditions. The ‘Ezi-Slots’ built into the top and bottom sections of the frame make fitting accessories a breeze, plus there is a unique sail track channel built into the side of the base section for easy attachments of canvas accessories like boot bags.

Dual Layered Canvas
The canvas on the LX27 is 260gsm/8oz polyester rip stop acrylic infused mold and mildew resistant. To help reduce condensation inside the tent the walls are dual layered and with inner and outer canvas doors on the rear and side entrances. Above the rear door under the rainfly is a meshed vent that can be opened to assist with airflow if you need to zip up all the doors in poor conditions.

Rainfly At Sides and Rear
The LX27 has a rainfly at the rear that wraps around to provide cover over the side entrances. The rainfly is attached to the tent with sail track on the rear and sides, but can either be rolled up or fully removed if not required. The rainfly is supported by heavy duty 8mm spring steel poles and has adjustable storm straps for heavier wind conditions.

Electrical Package
The LX27 has a stylish electrical panel that runs across the hinged end of the tent and the end of the mattress. This panel holds a twin USB and Cig socket on either site and also has convenient pockets on either side for storing important items and a strip to secure the magnetic LED Tri-color light. Power is supplied to the tent via an external 50 amp Anderson plug mounted to the underside of the tent at hinged end on left side.

Insulated Roof Lining
The LX27 has a durable and stylish insulated layer on the underside of the roof and riv-nuts preinstalled in all the internal roof beams to allow easy fitment of internal accessories like a Scirocco fan.

Internal Storage
The LX27 has a large set of roof storage pockets and two side pouches on either side of the tent and bottle holders on either side of the rear door.

Installation
The LX27 has 6 cross rails mounted 370mm apart on the underside of the tent that are flush with the base of the tent (see image below). These rails have an M8 channel in the center that bolts can be inserted into. In addition the tent is supplied with two 23mm high longitudinal extruded rails that can be attached to the cross rails underneath the tent and then used to mount the tent to your vehicle, rack or load bars. A mounting bracket kit is also supplied with the tent.

Rooftop Tent Care and Maintenance
We recommend that new tents are thoroughly wet down on the outside before first use. This will ensure that your tent performs well in wet weather by allowing the poly/cotton corespun thread and canvas to swell ensuring the take up of any potential leaks in the stitching.
Cleaning Canvas:
- Do not use soap or detergents on the canvas.
- Do
- not store the product if wet, allow drying first.
- To clean use a soft brush and cold water. Do not expose to petrol, oils or harsh chemicals.
Cleaning mold:
- Allow mold to dry
- Remove surface mold off with stiff bristle brush
- Vacuum the area
- Treat area with Oil of Clove spray (diluted spray can be purchased or can be mixed using a few
- drops of oil into a spray bottle of water)
Condensation:
Condensation is a natural occurrence in cold weather. In confined areas like tents the body releases more moisture than the canvas can dispose of. To help to reduce condensation build up, we recommend keeping some of the windows open on the tent to enable airflow on cold nights. If you are not using your tent for an extended period of time (more than 10 days) we recommend opening the tent regularly to allow it to air out, and possibly even remove the mattress and store it separately until your next trip.
